June is LGBTQ+ Pride month where we celebrate the legacy of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising and the progress that has been made throughout the decades. In the 52 years since Stonewall, there has been a growing body of literature by LGBTQ+ authors and about LGBTQ+ characters with more and more titles that highlight the diversity that exists within the LGBTQ+ community.
